Out at sea, far away from shore, you see some incredible things. This was inspired by our Pacific crossing in 2017. That is an enormous stretch of water and you don’t often see other boats. On this particular morning, a yacht appeared from nowhere. And then disappeared again over the horizon, several hours later.

There wasn’t much wind. Enough to have all the sails up, not too much.

Painting measures 15cm x 15cm and is mounted a framed in a brushed silver frame which measures 30cm x 30cm.
